Writing down what you want to achieve makes you answer to yourself, because you have in front of you a paper record of what you were supposed to achieve. It’s the equivalent of a friend popping round and asking you, “how did you get on with your weight loss efforts this week?” In many ways, when it comes to methods to help get rid of fat, it’s better than telling a friend, because ultimately you are the person in control. If you flick back through the last week to see pages full of blank spaces in the sections where you should have been putting work in, you know where you went wrong!
